Different wiggle
Different hello
A breeze bumped into the trees.
One leaf spun a record.
Another kept eating lunch.
A pinecone rolled over and
pretended not to notice.
Somewhere uphill,
a hollow stump went—
BWOOOOOM.
Three mushrooms looked up
and shivered.
The creek wrinkled its mouth.
A spiderweb jiggled its elbows.
One pebble sat there being
extremely pebble.
Then the breeze tried again.
BWOOOOOM.
The stump answered.
The pebble didn't.
Fair enough.
